When I first saw Chinese Democracy in the record store I had no idea that it was out it was a mind fuck. Its a damn good record but I guess many will listen to it expecting to hear Appetite for Destruction II or some shit. *puke* thats so 80's

Preach the gospel fanboys! Go get your $1.99 copy at Best Buy since they're still sitting on a million unsold copies.

I'm sorry, but I dislike CD. I think it's just uninspiring, not so rocking...
Also, I think they shouldn't have actually released the album and keep the myth going on. If they wanted people to hear it anyway, they could just play the songs live, upload demos, etc... but not release a final product.
I'd muuuuuuuuch rather listen to The Strokes because I love them so much and so far never got disappointed.

No one is talking about 808s and heartbreaks but people still talk about chinese democracy. The only reason people complain about it is because it isn't appetite for destruction 2.

Is it sunny in this room?

i love chinese democracy and it was a success and i agree with them
I pretty much agree with everything they said. Very intelligent and informative comments for all those fools out there who believe what the media has to say. The album rocks, so to use the words of Axl to all the naysayers out there, "Suck on that"
