A short series about this no more forgotten but still too unknown composer, jewish musician and virtuoso pianist, soldier in the First World War, then pacifist, communist, remover of barriers between serious and light music, paragon of 'degenerate music', champion of dance and jazz, who met his end as an antifascist prisoner in the concentration camp of Wülzburg, Bavaria. One of the most talented composers of the last century. Erwin Schulhoff
(1894-1942).

His first string quartet is from 1924 and "all of one piece" (Erich Steinhard).
