Maybe it is because of mentality. Korean women are not used to showing body to the public and they are by mind, traditions and mentality absolutely different from Arabic women. And just to compare - see Russian belly dancing school dancers. Just search the videos withf Maria Shashkova or Victoria Kirpi or early videos of Alya Kurbanova.

There's technique but though they do smile I don't see them FEELING the dance, there's no emotion inside of them, the flame. They do not get excited, do not fall in love with the dancing, the do it as a sports task and they should feel it from inside - the flame and be happy while dancing as if dancing is their whole life...

@LezzieTurtle I agree I thought they was doing flamenco dancing too there is no belly dance in this.

They are so STIFF.... belly dancing should be more fluid & almost viscous.... This is choppy. Does the beginning remind anyone else of spanish flamenco dancers?

The essence of the bellydance is fluidity. These ladies sure have on some heavy eyelashes but are way too stiff and employ few authentic techniques. The performace would be enhanced by more closeups.
