  • Rebuild those bridges Obama.

  • In Russia the English part is translated into Russian. Why should Medvedev speak English even if he knows it?? Do u think he should speak English and then interpret in into Russian for Russian-speaking people? I really don't get ur point.

  • oh great thats all we need! lol Russia & US & Britain including the commonwealth/NATO/UN/EU. world domination anyone?

  • not understand,tonemenolc, Talvi8.

  • кто так снимает?!

  • uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • and how would you know this? do you work for the government? or is that just your vague assumption you came up with?

  • Besides, the smaller nuclear stockpiles become, the more attractive putting the nuclear option on the table becomes. Common sense.

  • It is one sided. What the Russians agreed to cut was the same as us on paper. In reality, it's a sham. They can't even deliver half their stuff.

They cut things that we can defend ourselves against; bombers, subs, obsolete missile systems, while we cut things that would actually have an impact. Russia is not the only nuclear threat. We ought to be able to retaliate against two or three nuke powers at once, or the world is fucked.

  • MmiLleENnaA- I think he and Stephen Haper are the tallest G8 Leaders. Rather pointless point I know.

  • rappidominace- Iran comes into it because international nuclear proliferation outside the traditional super powers is a key issue in today's geo-political environment. You seem to think its one-sided. Medvedev will be cutting the Russian arsenal too. Both Washington and Moscow will still have stockpiles large enough to act as a deterrence. Of course there are still issues of debate ie Georgia, but any improvement in relations from the Bush-Putin era should be welcomed.

  • Where does Iran come into this? Obama just cut our nuclear capabilities in half and didn't touch Russia's. That should make you scratch your head.
