The residents of this colorful and inspirational neighborhood opened their doors to visitors from all over New York City and beyond for the 22nd time to celebrate with their signature Annual House Tour. It's History in Motion. The MMPCIA, Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association, may be Harlem's most impacting and influential non-profit community organization to date. With the help of its Founders, Supporters and Participants alleviated the community from having a Prison, a Mental Health Facility and demolition of its precious Mt. Morris Park West Brownstones. Today, with the help of Syderia Chresfield, Ruthann Richert, Rebecca Reyes and the many other extraordinary, active residents of the MMPCIA, it relentlessly provides us Harlem's most sought after children's Halloween event, Panelist Discussions and constant impact in our community in addition to the Mt. Morris Park House Tour. This video is just a short introduction to our many travels in Mt. Morris Park.
