Just did this today everything seems good... I recommend to sharpen a tooth pick because a blade with spark. That scared the shit out of me haha

my school uses macbooks for the classes and the computer teacher was nice enough to give me an old bloated, yet working battery. just got it in and it works alright. i hope this technique works. if it does you saved me like $100 man! xD

I think this tutorial does not apply to your battery. A bloated battery, like mine was, works perfectly. The problem with it is that it makes the trackpad unusable.

So if your trackpad is still working correctly this battery fix does not apply to your case.

@MacUlisse But mine is not bloated I guess, actually i don't know bcs i haven't opened yet. It is just dead, not charging at all. I am not sure if i should give it a shot??

That's correct, it's that simple.  I taped only 2 because the 3rd pack was not bloated.
