Volvo C70 2.4 T Coupé Speedo on Autobahn

Driving to Switzerland on Autobahn A5 between Karlsruhe and Basel, around 10PM.

Car: bone stock 2002 Volvo C70 2.4 Turbo Coupé. Didn't top out to max possible speed in this video (due to traffic), but it hits the 240km/h mark on the speedo.

Note: This speed is absolutely legal - no general speed limit on this stretch of Autobahn.

Yep, great engine, and it actually runs on LPG (Autogas) - €0,63/litre. Had it converted to this alternative fuel last year ;)

The 2.4l LPT (Low Pressure Turbo) is indeed a very nice engine. Very torquey from down low, durable.

Btw, going to Basel, Switzerland; I have no other choise but the A5. Only drive it at night, or cross over to the A35 in France (speed limited at 130km/h, but sometimes faster during daytime :D)

i hate the A5 and A8. i always take the A6 and then A81, it's more in km but less in time. nice car, the 2.4 is one of the best engines volvo ever made.
