Alliance for Justice, with New View Films and Parrhesia Pictures, Inc., has produced a provocative short documentary entitled "Quiet Revolution." Hosted by Emmy award-winning actor Bradley Whitford, the film features U.S. Senator Barack Obama and describes how an increasingly influential movement on the far right has waged a sustained war on the Constitution as we know it. Ultra-conservative politicians, judges, professors and activists would overturn decades of precedent to shred the fabric of popular laws protecting workers, consumers and public health, expand executive power at the expense of basic civil liberties, and impose a narrow social agenda on the rest of the body politic.

  • Based on the number of comments here, this is a VERY quiet revolution.

  • What a crock. Just another propaganda 'film' attempting to bash the right again. It's democracy, get over it.

  • They misinterepret the Constitution like the rotten people who aren't really christians misinterepret and twist and pervert the scriptures. It hasn't been about race, sex, or abortion....it's been about TAKING AMERICAN CITIZEN'S RIGHTS AWAY FROM THEM!

  • You have to get over the labels. These guys are not conservative; they are wolves in conservative clothing. Whether it is corporate welfare, invasions of privacy or trampling the constitution, both sides are guilty.

Democrats and Republicans of today are MOSTLY for one thing - consolidation. Whether it is neo-conservatism or neo-socialism, neither are new and neither are constitutional.

  • Scotland Yard has already begun indictment upon Tony Blair for Genocide and Crimes against Humanity

Why are the American people so weak?

Why are the American people afraid to question authority?

  • Barry Goldwater?? Don't tarnish the good name of Goldwater by associating him with people like Bush and the Christian Right! Sure, he was 'radical' for his time, but lots of Republicans were much more ultraconservative. Hell, Goldwater was pretty much a libertarian.

  • No comments? Man, nobody cares...

  • Thank you for putting this movement in historical context.

  • Time to wake up before its too late. Problem - Reaction - Solution -

And i can assure you are NOT going to enjoy the solution..

  • THIS SUX! Wolf in sheep's clothing...THIS...Modern Liberals call everybody not with them as EXTREME. Leftists NEVER described as EXTREME.
