i think the guy handle it well :)

...yeah. Definitely needs to gain some respect for people. I wonder how many people this horse has injured.

lol maybe i'm just weird but that one would be the one i'd want to buy. the cheeky ones/one's with "issues" are always more rewarding to work with than a totally bomb proof horse in my opinion.

@horse11lover I've never tried this method but I've heard of it everywhere. I don't know if its necessarily the best way to cure it, but if it works, it works. I use the whole push them forward method, usually rearing is done to get out of working and to get away from pressure.

hermythewormy Some older colts and stallions can get nasty sometimes, but this horse is only a yearling at a sale, just been cheeky

@elle0318 Do they ever try and actually get the handler? Or are they just having fun?

he has a gorgeous rear!!!

Okay welll first of all NEVER yank on a horse for rearing. When he pulled on the chain when he was up in the air, it made the horse even more nevous. And the whole cracking an egg or a milk carton over his head is a stupid Idea.

thats my dad with the rearing horse
he said it was like the horse was leading him by dental flose but came in 2nd though XD

horse11lover - thats not a good method, horses do not have the brain capacity to link rearing with blood.
by look of it these are young race horses at a sale.... i work at a breaking in stable with race horses and its just a cheeky baby thing they do.... we have horses do this everyday at work, its neither the horse or the handlers fault.. just babies been playful, great job holdin on!! :)

People, stop posting ignorant comments about how this horse needs better training, or that they shouldn't be out in public with these manners, etc. I'm guessing their yearling TBs being sold as racehorses. It doesn't matter if a racehorse has perfect manners or not. If the horse is fast, a jockey/trainer will deal with whatever attitude the horse has. Racehorse breeders/dealers don't have time to spend perfectin their horses' manners when it's obviously not that big of a deal.
