Enough marketing - get the facts - https://www.cchrint.org/psychiatric-disorders/
Psychiatrists openly admitting at the 2006 APA convention that they have no scientific tests to prove mental disorders are illness or disease, and that psychiatric drugs do not cure anyone.
@CamillaCalamity Study /research orthomolecular medicine and speak with a naturopathic doctor who actually knows the right tests to conduct to determine pathophysiology and appropriate, corresponding treatment, not involving psychiatric medication.

@HomerDelta It's not dopamine... it's never just one thing going wrong, it's a cascade, and it can be treated nutritionally which allows the body to correct its own "imbalance(s)". No need for medications. Absolutely none.

@HomerDelta
Have you even bothered to watch any of CCHR's full-length videos?
Psychiatry still performs them, though they claim that they are "safer".
Perhaps you are confusing electroshock therapy with lobotomies, which are not done anymore.

In my humble opinion you have to be on one side of the fence or the other. Do you think autism or asperger's is real? There isn't even a medication for those disabilities! If you think ADHD is not a problem with dopamine not being released when it should then please tell the autistic kid who can't go to school and is homebound that she is just not trying hard enough.

@ArtisynSaffryn LMAO What time do you live in where they still do electro shock? Did they try leeching her too? Or Trepidation? HAHA

@Adrianism1 I agree with that. Mental problems may be caused by dietary factors. The effects start in the womb. A person is affected from fetus to child to adult by their mother's diet. Also the drugs, medications, alcohol, etc she used before she got pregnant and duing the pregnancy affect the fetus. Same applies to the father. Health is very complicated and not well understood yet, especially mental health.

@CamillaCalamity Niacin has been shown to help with depression. Take as much as it takes to fix it basically. Also, if youre lacking in other nutrients, you should see brain malfunctions. Vitamins and minerals attribute to multiple reactions each. So lacking in one can show up with many malfunctions.
Tl;Dr if you eat right, you should have all your bases covered anyway, and if for some reason your body cant operate well, then supplement the lacking vitamin or mineral that is in question.

Another very good video, CCHR!
It pains me whenever a friend of mine tells me they've been put on a psychiatric drug or going through the process of getting their "meds" switched. I had a friend who went through that process for many years, until they ended up giving her electroshock therapy. Shortly after, she told me it didn't help her much and wanted the pain gone. That was over a year ago, and I haven't heard from her since then. I'm for the right-to-die, but certainly not like this.

No one denies that there is a problem. Just get the facts on cchr.com

So what should people who are depressed, bi-polar, hyperactive, or having psychotic episodes supposed to do? Denying that there is a problem doesn't help.
