My single cam VTEC coupe.
Intake, exhaust, and header.
The tires were really bad when I did this video. you can tell because I spun tires all through first. I timed at about 7.5-8 second range. Not bad for a D-series Coupe with a 200 pound man and it wasn't the best launch either. Consider the B16 SI does 7.5 Seconds
Let me know what you guys think

  • I miss this car, even though it was slow. This car is done. I slapped on a turbo and blew the engine. I'm in the process of getting a 03-04 Cobra now.

  • Damn lol but what are the mods couldn't understand you?

  • What civic was that eg or ek coz if u add a b16 in a cx civic I know it will kill it

  • @skater122104 you skatebourd..........enough said

  • i have the same engine in my hatch and 4th gear never pulls lol. what does your car top out at?

  • @EGcoupeVTEC i think u mean, some salvadorean shit.. ;)

  • @realenthusiasm There was some of second gear left by the way, He changed or clutched in bearly into the redline in second. I'd guess it'll hold til 65MPH before the Limiter.

  • @Grifkylian Yep, So many people dunno how to drive VTEC's properly. When you change into the next gear the VTEC should still be active if it's not, you changed to early. I also think it's fine just to brush the Rev limiter before changing up as then you know you'll definatly have VTEC in the next gear. If not a double clutch would do.

  • @danik077 Defo a VTEC cause of the RPM Reached, this model has a very weak VTEC system though

  • Nice man it pulls good for a sohc
