SOS-dan Hare Hare Yukai ハレ晴レユ カイ ハルヒダンス

We finally got our SOS-dan together and did the ED dance in cosplay, save for Kyon missing his blazer. It was a lot of fun. ^_^

Okay, to clear up a few things...

This is a PRACTICE session for Anime Boston 2007 Masquerade competition. Of course there are plenty of mistakes and wrong moves between the five of us.

Take note that this was taped in APRIL, 2007! The event is long gone and over, so asking us to improve and whatnot will fall on deaf ears.

To end the race debate:
Haruhi, Kyon, Itsuki - Asian
Mikuru, Yuki - Caucasian

The girls' costumes were made by ourselves. We used patterns and modified existing pieces of clothing as well as sewing stuff from scratch.
The guys' costumes were mostly store bought (thrift shops and eBay) and modified to look like the North High uniform.

I've sold what I don't need anymore from my costume sets. Please don't ask anymore. A full Haruhi set is $60 + $10 shipping fee, but I'm not taking commissions since I have college to focus on.

In retrospect, I was one of the dorks in the video. Looking back, it does suck, but it was fun, so who cares. We practiced together once because we were from different parts of New England.

This was in '07 before most people knew about Haruhi, which is why it got so many views... I guess. Now there's a lot more to compare it to, many of which are better.
