sorry to say but it doesn't take video!!!!! its 6.1 megapix. if you are going to be a photographer you need to read up on the books,get a mentor, and go out and take some great pictures with your nikon d70!!!

@FilipKid Obviously, the Canon T1i is years ahead. Not really a good comparison. Besides, the Nikon D70s is more than enough of a camera to handle any situation. Gearheads normally oversee that photography isn't about equipment, but it's mainly about understanding light.

dude, the lens is the thing that matters not the body; some say that bodies come and go but the lenses always stay right there on the spot. You should read your camera's manual mate because you'll find lots of info in there like what resolution it's sensor has and other stuff. The d70s was around 1200 $ I guess but now it's value is down.
