Janet Napolitano tells Bill O'Reilly administration is committed to safe border

An Arizona rancher testified before Congress that the dangers along the border have him sleeping with a shotgun in order to protect his family. Even after hearing this testimony, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told Bill O'Reilly the administration is committed to a safe and secure border. The facts, however, do not add up. The administration claims to be sending more resources to the border, but in reality is recalling 1,200 National Guard troops in June.

And you DON'T live on the border or you would not have such a skewed opinion. You probably live on the east coast. More people died in the last few years on the border of Mexico than in Iraq. FACT.

I agree with Janet Napolitano. The borders are very secure. People seem to think that what she means is that there is no crime happening. What they fail to realize is that crime does happen, just like in any other city, but it is at a lower rate that those other cities. Personally, I think the rancher exaggerates. I say, why don't these rancher invest in a camera and record all these "burglaries" they claim to be experiencing, because, personally, I've yet to see it, and I live on the border.
