  • Was hoping they'd ask him about working with Dean Martin and Shirley Maclaine. Great interview though! :)

  • Love this guy!!!

  • Thanks for this - great document - of a natural sincere human being - who we all warm to - so fortunate to have had him in business for so long

  • "You shtink!" haha Love Dick Van Dyke

  • 1. Dick did a great tv special with Julie Andrews and you could tell he had a crush on her as did most of her co-stars.

    2. He can say what he wants, but he walked out on the Carol Burnett Show because of creative differences and being used to being the top banana.

    3. You can see that he had been a heavy drinker.

    4. Fred Silverman did not get the NBC job out of college- he had been the program director at WGN TV in Chicago in the 60's and was brilliant with innovations.

  • im 26 years old i remember my parents watching dick van dyke as a child. he is so talented brilliant and humble, i hope he lives to be 1000 God bless him

  • Dick Van Dyke is one of the most unassuming super stars in the USA. A wonderful natural, self taught actor who still entertains us to this day. A wonderful person, and long may he continue.

  • What a gracious man ,,, and such a good story teller!

    Thanks for posting.

  • Dick Van Dyke is my childhood hero.

  • great interview
