On a ringing outing.

The bells are very different to the last set. the treble is very strange.

I attempted to ring it to Plain Bob Minor, but It managed to Slip the Wheel, and stood itself, so the method was brought to a stand.

The Treble shakes a lot at handstroke. Look at the ringer in the video (who is not me). On it's first pull it must be pulled like Wedmore! Watch the Tuft shake around at handstroke.

They feel very heavy for 6cwt, but not s bad sounding set.

  • @simonbellringer ,

err,, i dont know actually. just very awkeward to ring. i managed to slipwheel it aswell!! oops :) haha. the others are a bit odd too, but the treble's the worst.

not up here it's not mate!!! ;D

  • What's up with the Treble then? And what were the others like?

NB: The 'Tuft' is called the 'Sally.'

  • It wouldn't surprise me! ; )

  • I' not a "namer and shamer". lol.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure, but they are a bit tricky.

  • who couldn't strike the tenor / keep the tenor up then???

  • Are these on plain bearings? I've rung on plain bearings before and found those hard to handle, feeling heavier than they were.
