See ninja gaiden 1 was perfect in every way. The action,story,ninja weapons,puzzles,and music. Ninja Gaiden 2 had no puzzles,no story,jus more action and good music. Now they know 2 not 2 jus put more action but 2 put a damn story next time.

Truth be told I think they both had great story. 1 was more telling about ryu's past and how things came to the way they are. While 2 had more of a current day storyline to it, telling more of a story about how ryu is today, instead of leading off his past. Though Ninja Gaiden 1 went into a little more depth in story, I felt Ninja Gaiden 2 was more interactive with it's story, Example, Ninja Gaiden 2 had better cutscene's and dialog while 1 had more text and things to discover to explain it.

Not to take away from your opinion but how can you call it perfect? Did the following not annoy you?:
-The unexplained and often dumb autotargetting system (never ever ever mentioned in game nor has any options).
-Sometimes randomly insane enemy attacks (e.g. my blood still boils thinking about 3 fire ninjas all hitting me with that damn down slash at the same time.
-Inability to turn off end of chapter rankings (I have gotten master ninja on every chapter on master ninja)

@DoopaLoopa I agree with the annoying enemy attacks and cheap combos the enemies always pulled. But in truth that was the only thing could actually really do anything to Ryu (If you were good) was cheap shit. All those cheap teaming combos the enemy pulled all the time was what made this game so fucking hard. XD
