@sweetsweatyfeet I'm actually running out of stuff here to say LOL. But what I think most is that it all comes down to what one's self thinks. Sure, there are some who try to contradict others' ways of thinking (like me) so yeah. Good debate there mate.
@pengeneral Christianity is not entirely spawned off Judaism. Paganism played an important role. There are religions that predate Judaism. One recurring theme is the importance of sacrificing living things (animals or people) to the god(s) for atonement, to quell wrath and bring future abundance. The reference to Jesus by Josephus is said to be fraudulent as his writings have been subject to heavy manipulation--youtube videos have been posted about this. BTW--I don't deny Jesus may have existed.
@sweetsweatyfeet In case you're wondering, the two historians are Titus Flavius Josephus (a Jewish historian,) and Carius Cornelius Tacitus (a Roman historian.) While Flavius did not put Jesus as an evil man, Carius wrote Jesus in a hostile tone. Another thing. How can Christian mythology be stolen from earlier religions when its based off of Judaism? Also, Judaism evolved from the Hebrews, and the Hebrews were there quite early (dating back to the time of Mesopotamia.)
@sweetsweatyfeet Hey, you know what? I'm not asking you to like the lyrics or anything, but isn't the tune nice?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------There are two historians from the past that are regarded as reliable sources of proof that Jesus is real, which in turn proves supernatural claims of Jesus' acts, where from then on probable points of God and his abilities. @pengeneral Archaeological evidence for historical artifacts, yes---some. No one doubts ancient civilizations, geographical places and some biblical landmarks did exist. But there is ZERO evidence for supernatural claims---none. If such evidence existed then all archaeologists would be Christians. Whenever a claim violates the laws of physics, be assured it is B.S.
Much of Christian mythology was derived (stolen) from earlier religions just like Islam plagiarized from Judaeo-Christianity.
