this is aweful. i love the song o come o come emanuel. there are more than enough rediculous songs out there about adultery and sin....why take an amazing and loving christian song about the Lord and turn it into a laid-back Lady Gaga song? this makes me very upset.

The original song is 12th century hymn called "Veni Veni Emmanuel". In Christianity, Emmanuel (which means God with us) refers to Christ, who is the Messiah, and God Incarnate who live among men.

The original lyrics were something like this:
