@PersianStudios Actually studies have shown that shin splints are much more common with runners who heel-strike. I strike exclusively with my forefoot and barely ever let my heel down to touch the ground and never have I felt so good running. Everybody has their own running style, and there is as such no ''correct'' way to run, it all depends on your physique, and so on.

This guy has terrible form!!! He forfot strikes all the way like he is jumping a rope. Good way to get shin splints. The idea is to land midfoot. Or atleas mid-forfoot and then let the heel toush the ground lightly. Watch kenyans and try to immitate their footstrike.

@proteanview The 3 is actually heavier than 1 and 2. I have both the 1 and 2 and they are pretty much identical, both great shoes. If you can get a hold of either of them at a cheap price, get them!

Is there a major difference in the 3 & the 2? Shall I save my money & just get the 2?
-
It's probably because
A: He is not going barefoot, harder to have correct running form
B: He is concentrating on talking and the video rather then his form..
Thats if you are correct about his form being improper though...

@edwardedmonds sounds like a great tip. thanks. used to jump rope a lot and seem to remember i ran quite well in those days.

@autumn1231 the tapping usually happens because you are not relaxed enough or running into the ground instead of running over the ground this is a center of gravity problem that is easily fixed by picking up a jump rope and jumping rope for a few minutes each night or every other night, you'll want to do the jump rope bare foot.

damn there is snow on the ground on halloween? where do you live haha?

@edwardedmonds I think i do that sometimes...any suggestions as to why i do this and what i could change...
Hey RunBare,
Love you guys, but please let me give you a tip: this technique of conducting the interview while running is a gimmick and it's incredibly annoying. He's out of breath, not looking at the camera, wind is blowing into the speakers, etc etc. I had to turn it off after 2:45. It would be cool to start the interview this way and maybe cut to scenes of Michael running to demonstrate certain things he's talking about, but that's it.
