This was a tough video to make, the season ended on the down note of the OSU loss, Stoops being courted by Florida, and generally the unsatisfying feeling left by a 10-3 Cotton Bowl win. But the 2nd Act seems to be a crowd favorite with Roy's superman act.
Due to length and size I had to split the video in 2 parts
Music is (in order)
LEGEND OF BAGGER VANCE - MAIN THEME
THE PERFECT STORM - LET'S GO BOYS
MASK OF ZORRO - THE PLAZA OF EXECUTION
PEARL HARBOR - ATTACK/WAR
BAND OF BROTHERS - MAIN THEME
@tmlafrance I love the 45th Infantry Museum. Hitler's mirror always kinda freaks me out though. There is no doubt a profound difference between a combat unit and a football team. But, there is a fundamental similarity also. I see no harm in music from a HBO series fitting both occasions. I hope no one is offended by it though.

@a55kiker While I appreciate the sentiment, it's not even close to the same thing. Watching friends die casts a bond beyond anything those kids will ever understand, unless they enlist and pull a tour in Afghanistan. The music from Rudy would be more relevant. There's a 101 st vet who volunteers at the 45th Inf Div museum, ask HIM if he thinks they are similar. That was an amazing season though.

@poopsyproductions You were right indeed. I'm a Sooner fan, but would have kinda liked to see OSU make a BCS Bowl. But watching them choke was pretty cool too...

@tmlafrance I meant like the 101st 506th Company E, the 2001 Oklahoma Sooners have the memories of working together to accomplish certain goals. Each man in E Company will remember their time in the military and the men they served with, much like the players on a football team remember their teammates. The 2001 Sooners were indeed a band of brothers.

@a55kiker How is it appropriate? No one on this team was on the 101st or jumped into Normandy. Completely inappropriate.

Haha the most meaningful Bedlam game in a while will be this year.

That was when we had amazing coaches. Mangino had a great plan and still does. If OSU hadn't beaten OU, then they would have probably gone to and won the NC game. But lately, Oklahoma has always been just out of reach of victory. But I'm not complaining. At least OU is always getting the chance to play the big games. Most programs only dream of the chance.
