This was my first swap EVER!! Before this the most complicated thing I had ever done to a car was probably change the oil. No haters pls haha.

ITS ALL GOOD! my first car was a 91 si d15b8...ran a 17.2 at the track lol then i spent $1275 on a b16a (complete) and fuckin spun a bearing running from a cop! I got away though! ~ef squad 4 life!~

I did the b18a swap in 2 days on my daily driver 2 years ago the trick is to be prepared and do way too much research but definitely worth it she's quick as shit and dead reliable 2 years of daily duty nothing but oil changes

Ive been watching alot of video's on people doing engine swaps on there Honda.
I recently bought a 93' Del Sol with a rod thrown threw the block.
I was wondering if I could get any pointers on doing a engine swap (And this is my VERY first time doing such)

@jeremyt13 I highly recommend it. It was a great learning experience, but be seriously prepared to dedicate a lot of time and concentration to it.

did the b18 line up to the stock mounts or did yu have to move them??

@MrLearn2board there are 4 engine mounts. 2 on either side and one in the front and one in the back. The b18 only uses the 2 on the sides and the one in the back but you will need a mount kit so the b18 mounts correctly into the engine bay.

@MrLearn2board There is no "kits" per se, however you can purchase complete engines that come with axels, transmission, ECU, wiring, etc. However, the wiring is a tad tricky and you will need to combine both the wiring harnesses to make one harness that fits the b18 into the ef electronics. Get ready to solder/ shrink wrap.
