GHOST -A MUSIC VIDEO

Song and Lyrics by Andy Matchett I would like to thank Andy Matchett for the use of his song GHOST. This particular song has an interesting beginning. It was inspired by a dream where Andy Matchett was visited by a ghostly woman. What was also interesting was that same night his sister Meagan also had a similar dream where she saw her brother being visited by a ghostly woman. I challenged myself to find images that balanced with the theme of the song. The face in the video GHOST is the face of a tombstone that you can find at the entrance to the HAUNTED HOUSE at Disney Wold....just before you enter the haunted house you can find her looking at you to the left. Ghost are said to come from different dimensions and sometimes they have the ability to tell you the future. This ghost was a time traveler and knew what would be the best future for Andy. It was his turning point to becoming a musician. I was hoping to find an atmospheric cloud to add to this video but instead I was surprised to capture an orb on video which best complimented the theme of this song. An orb is believed to be a spirit. At an arts and crafts shop I found a package called the Once Upon a Time Stack which challenges the artist to create their own fairy tale. So the story begins in this video where a ghostly time travels appears. Like all fairy tales there are dragons good and bad. The ghostly dragon puppet in the middle of the video was created by David Goboff http://www.simplypuppets.com/ And there is an odd looking apparition....the orb and there is a clue to which path to follow. The message of this video is MUSIC IS THE TREASURE There are several treasure chests which indicate different treasures for different stages of life. There is even a ghostly appearance of a treasure chest. See if you can find it. The treasure chest with the spiraling opening was drawn by the late Susan Seddon Boulet. I went to Cassadaga which is a spiritually charged town and at the general store found the poster PSYCHES LAST TASK drawn by Susan Seddon Boulet. The story of of Psyche who is often symbolized as a butterfly is that she was married to Cupid who she was told not to look upon his face but she did and they were separated. She had to undergo several tasks to get him back. The last task was to retrieve a box from Hades which contained Persephone's beauty potion. She was made immortal and reunited with Cupid.
