This is a video taken with a high speed camera at 2000 and 4000 frames per second. A drop of water was dropped from approximately 5 inches above a razor blade. The video clearly shows the shear deformation of the water droplets and the energy dissipating toward the edges of the droplet.

  • sorry but this is pretty boring coming from a university. you'd think they would have some better cameras to film this. If i'm correct, this is the exilim camera. Please, for the love of god, get a better camera to demonstrate fluid dynamics.
