The Last Lecture Series is an annual tradition at the University and provides a forum for distinguished professors to lecture to students as if it were their last time to do so. Here Charles Marsh, Ph.D., Professor of Religious and Theological Studies and Director of the Project on Lived Theology, presents his last lecture at the Rotunda on Wednesday April 2.
Having met Charles Marsh as a teenager, I am amazed to see how his life journey, academic pursuits, and growing relationship with God have developed him into such a passionate person, studying social justice in both theory and practice. I wonder if he might follow up this lecture in five years or so with a new report on what his hands-on experiences and new research opportunities have taught him away from the classroom environment. May his voice and influence continue to grow.
