Iceland is a very big country with extremely small population so they have to prioritize government spending. In Iceland there is free health care, education, icefree heated pavements and there are roads. The government prioritizes healthcare and education over the roads, that is way they have them, a ghost from old times.

Leave it to the Brits to tell the rest of the world how to drive, gee I was drving on gravel when you were a gleam in your dady's eye! I've rode motorcycles, farm trucks and it just requires common sense. Not in Iceland but USA

British and Icelanders are not one in the same. your "common sense" should of told you that. Also, what is COMMON to one, isn't common to another.. Go fish
