Hey man, where did you place the SM57 to get that sound? Really good for a single mic
-
is your floor tom a 14"
-
How can I do a recording with a mic like you did? I have a Flip video, with a crappy built in cam mic, but do have a separate SM57, like you. Can you synch it on flip vid, or what software program or camera did you use, and how did you synch them?
Nice drumming, and yes your kit, especially the higher tom sounds groovy. I am getting this same kit tonight for my son (10yrs old) from a guy selling for only $200, including an upgraded Pacific Snare!

@dannyman727 advantage does not have plastic lugs, they used another type of wood for the outside (only the outside) so there are more finishes to choose from
-
The sound is great for one mic, really diggin it.

That sounds great for 1 SM57! Love the sound of your #1 tom.
Hey, I just got a set of Yamaha Tour Customs.. I think they have similar bass drum spurs. Can you tell me how to put the spikes of the spur in so that they dont scratch the wooden floor??
ktkdrummer 2 years ago
You need to twist the rubber part of the spur and pull it out for the spikes to release into the spur.
