I've not yet seen his "revolutionary" work in the late sixties/ early seventies, and from today's perspective the "revolutionary" work of a maoist is ambigous in the moment you hear about it, before you've seen it.
But that guy is so fucking amazing that hearing him talk is worth more than most films. THis is more than thirty years ago and is more important today than ever, to encourage people to realize that images are ambiguous far from "authentic" in the sense our reality-tv makes believe.
