  • Hi chef..on one of your videos on making alcapurrias ..you made them only out of yautia only? .do you have the recipe?..and the black plastic mold where can i get that from?...thank you

  • Wilo, great presentation. I'm serving a Puerto Rican dinner to some friends here in Virginia tonight and will be making tostones as part of the meal. I've got to get Joanne to get me both tostoneras - they're great!

  • When you eat it with rice and beans, put the rice and beans on top. It's really tasty with a nice crunch! :)

  • Fabuloso! additional info: perhaps it should have been mentioned that the plantain peel will stain - reason for the glove. and you want them crispy because they are the delicious caribbean version of the french fry... so final step is to salt them. and there are 1001 tasty dipping sauces for them. where is my Daiquiri !?!
