So my Ebike was stolen and I needed a replacement; I thought, buy when people are selling at end of season.
I found one with promises of "next to new perfection". Now I know that used is rarely perfect, but supposedly the battery was new, and I thought that even if not I should be able to get home and plan on getting new batteries in the spring.
The test ride went fine, but 2 kilometers after paying the fellow, it pooped out, so I rode, charged, and rode and charged, and finally made it home.
The front wheel wont turn freely, but that is minor. What kind of bugged me was that this guy (nice guy actually) took my money and sent me on to the hiway, with a battery that he knew wouldn't last more than a few k, not cool Ken, not cool.
Now, I have to loose 40 lbs. You see I am a caregiver, and I only work at MacDonalds two days a week, so I don't get as much exercise as when I worked 5 days a week.
So I was thinking, when I am lighter in the spring (and I will be), and the front wheel is fixed, and I put new batteries in; this thing will be quite peppy.

A previous owner may have ran the batteries dead flat, they will
never be any good after that.
