I saw the first episode but the audio has been disabled. I am living in the Philippines. Maybe the government blocked it.

grove005. I enlisted in the US Navy in 1987 not here in the US, but back in the Philippines under RP-US military bases agreement. That treaty was abrogated in 1992 and since then no more pinoys are recruited in the Philippines in the former Subic naval base. And after Chapter 61 retirement in 1997 decided to stay here in the US and up until now I dont have a green card. I agree with you. I dont know how illegal aliens here in the US were able to enlist in the military.

You can't join a Military here in the USA if you're a TNT.... Because you nid to be a citizen bro.... You kidding me!!!
Well done! I didn't even know what a Filipino looked
like until I got to boot camp (1968) and almost half
our company were Filipinos. Then my first duty station
was Naval Communications Station Phiippines. I ended
up marrying a Filipino so have a lot of connections
to the Filipino community. Great job telling your
family stories here and best of luck to you all.
