New Orleans Heat play Telephone to Glory

This version of "Telephone to Glory" was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Sunday, June 8th. 2008 by New Orleans Heat.




Led by Barry Grummett on piano the line-up was John Scantlebury on clarinet and alto, Gwyn Lewis on cornet and flugelhorn, Mike Taylor on trombone, Harry Slater on bass, Tony Peatman on banjo and Paul Spelling on drums. With the vocal by Gwyn Lewis this was once again part of a superb session by one of the most popular bands to come in to the Harp. Their newly released CD, "Walking with the King" attracted a lot of interest and can be bought from their gigs or from their website.
Once again an excellent gig at the Harp where sessions are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening.
