My 2000 trip to Augusta Georgia, Sept-Dec #1: Myrtle Beach SC

In 2000, I went to Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia for 3 months to help out the US Army. With what you ask? If I told you, I'd have to kill you :) Since I'd only returned from my 6 month deployment to the Persian Gulf in Dec '99, I didn't want to leave Rascal behind. A US Navy guy I'd met on the ship lived in Augusta and agreed to take Rascal in. After a week, I discovered that he was living in the yard full time, in 30C/86F weather. They thought he was an "outside dog". So I took him back to the barracks where I had my own air conditioned room and he stayed with me for the remainder of the 3 months. No it's not allowed. I'm sure after 3 months everybody had seen him in there but nobody said anything. So my next few videos will be of 4 year old Rascal and his adventures in southern USA.

Ten years later, Rascal is alive and well and will turn 14 years old on March 31st, 2010.

I love the beach... We used to go to camping at Nags Head in NC all the time. Rascal was just a young'un back then ツ
