A 'friendly deer' is getting a reprieve from eating neighbors' flower beds. Instead of being put down by the Department of Natural Resources, FOX 11's Mark Leland reports a complaint against the animal is resulting in a new home.

  • People need to live integrated with nature - not segragated from it. Is wildlife sometimes "inconvenient" to our property and activities? Yes. But we need to learn to live in harmony with it or else wildlife won't have a chance. And we will lose a very special connection to the natural world.
