@eruma They also used Ju-88s in a nightfighter role. Late in the war, Bf-410s.

There were several types flown by Nachtjager (nightfighter) groups. The Heinkel 219 Uhu (Owl) was late in the war, but very good (and fitted with ejector seats - I believe the world's first combat ejection was from one of these), and there was also the Messerschmitt Me410 Hornisse (Hornet) used for night fighting.

I´m not quite shure, but as far I can interpret he had one of his engines shot out by the reargunner, in that case his aircraft it was not a FW190 but a ME110. Correct me if I´m wrong !
Yes its true, he flew a 2-engine aircraft, a night fighter. I also think that it was a Messeschmitt Bf-110, I don't know any German 2 prop-engined nightfighter else in WW2.

@totenkopf999 2nd aircraft is at Musee de la air et espace le bourget paris. The first is in Germany being repaired after a crash, the video it self was shot at Duxford England.
