Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - Unused Surfboard Intro

Hierbei handelt es sich um ein ungenutztes Intro. Anstatt auf dem Tornado nach Angel Island zu fliegen, benutzt Sonic ein Surfbrett und surft sich seinen Weg dort hin. Die Animationen dazu befinden sich immer noch auf dem fertigem Spiel. Das Intro kann man durch Hilfe von Savestates zu sehen bekommen.

This is a unused Intro of Sonic surfing onto Angel Island, rather than riding in on the Tornado (the animations for this are still one final game). You can access this Intro by using Savestates.

@tails230 Yeah, that could work. Or it could also state why Tails is going in alone. Like, um, Tails was flying next to Sonic (Who was surfing at the time) when BAM! Knuckles flies in and pushes him off of the surfboard! Tails lands on the island and sees Knuckles kidnapping Sonic. And then you have a nice little sub-plot.

I like this idea a lot, but surfing Sonic looks too big to the regular sprites. Also I can see that they used Sonic's head from Sonic 2 for a little bit, which looks too different from Sonic in Sonic 3's head.

Generally, it would have been a lot cooler if they had went with this.
