Circa 2000, A rare clip of Garry Goodman and David Nielsen, "The Nielsen-Goodman Project", opening for their jazz fusion quartet, "Jasmine" playing a short version of "Haleakala". It was really more of a rehearsal as the doors were just opening. This short version of "Haleakala" was later recorded with guitar and bass solos for their top 10 Cd, "Tap Dance On A Cloud", released in 2005.
Due to the video camera's microphone, the audio quality is not the best.
Garry uses his "Percussive Harmonic" technique to provide a driving groove for this tune.
Great work

It's really great to see your percussive aproach to the bass. Really inspiring.
