I MET THEM IN TULSA MANY YEARS AGO WITH THE BUCK OWENS CONCERT TOUR VERY SPECIAL YOUNG MEN THEY ARE SINGING AND LAUGHING WITH GOD NOW I AM A NEW BORN AGAIN BELIEVER AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THEM IN HEAVEN THE TIMES WERE SO MUCH SIMPLER BACK THEN I WISH WE COULD TURN BACK THE CLOCK THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES RIP FROM OKLAHOMA

I met both Jim and Jon back in 1974 in Lake Charles, LA. They were really nice guys. You could tell show business hadn't gone to their heads.

@blueberries4ever yup; jim from a heart attack and jon died in his sleep. I always liked the way they split the screen when they switched cameras on HEE HAW.

Both of them are dead now. Jon died 8 months after Jim died.
