  • Amazing time lapse!

  • @ifly65 Not according to the Engineers that built the Arch when I met them last year.

  • @StLouisEarl

One inch only for 20mph? Ive been up there and it feels like feet more than inches. Ive heard it can sway up to 7 feet...3 1/2 feet to each side!

  • Nice to see 2 fronts colliding.

  • well that was a waste of 20 seconds!

  • The arch has 60-foot deep foundations. The arch is very stable and was built to withstand high winds and earthquakes. The structure sways about one inch in a 20 mph wind; it is designed to sway up to 18 inches in 150 mile per hour winds.

  • @stormspinner1 I would :-)

  • and the intresting part is ?????

  • wasn't this April 3 2006?

  • I guess whats funny is the fact that it looks...so insignificant like a whined up toy lol and moving really fast as if its a speed boat lol im laughing at this and im not even high lol.
