WATCH THE HIGH QUALITY VERSION.
This is my version of Rush's Hope from Snakes and Arrows played with the piezo pickup on a PRS hollowbody. It's not note for note, but close enough for clogs. At the last moment I decided to end on a major instead of minor. Tuning is low to high DADAAD with string gauge 11-52's (it was scary tuning that heavy wound G up to the A. Guitar is a PRS Hollowbody II with the piezo run direct through the PA. Sorry about the out of tune string, it's that wound G :)

I appreciate your comments.

  • Are those the pickups that came with the guitar? Or did you change any of them?

  • @Quakelord1991 Yes, that's the original LR Baggs piezo unit that comes in the guitar.

  • that is my dream guitar if i had that i would want no other guitar in the entire world

  • God, I have probably listened to this 20 times in the last hour, and I can't get enough of it. Excellent tone, excellent technique, and a beautiful PRS.

This tone is exactly the reason all of my PRS guitars are loaded with piezo pickups. Even my PRS SE Standard and SE Semihollow. Those two guitars sound incredible. Funny thing is, I spent as much on the bridge.piezo system as I did on the guitars themselves, but it was worth it...especially on the semihollow.

  • 4 people are jealous that they can't get a PRS, so they disliked it.

  • @pinters42 low to high EBEBBE

Yep 2 b strings. That's how he hits the tonic E on the 5th fret. This way he can keep the drone of the EB at the top without having to hit the strings for the melody.

  • I would be willing to go to prison for this prs

  • what strings are you using

  • @gibsonshredder86 does that mean your have converted to PRS

  • nice.............CHEERS

  • Great job there mate
