@noudgoertz perhaps true, but torque was not my major concern, as you can see it has way enough power to drive around. Frankly, i did not see another solution in the space available. I am curious as to your solution though...

it's bad to use worm screws to make it drive, a lot of torque whill be waste.

@OndrovideoPRODUCTION well spotted! it is mostly the axles that suffer i think, the wheels seem ok to me. This is an extreme load so it distorts the axles... but nothing broken, pfew.
