- cont. The good news is that you can download a mod that restores quite a bit of cut content, on the pc version. The other reason why some people like the first better is because the second doesn't have that same feel? Which to me doesn't fully make sense, because Kotor 2 has an atmosphere that no other star wars game has ever achieved. I'm amazed at how good of a job Obsidian was able to do with the title, but a tragedy that it wasn't even close to being complete.

People don't get obsidians style it was the same with fonv they are a lot grittier and like to get into the political side of things the rights and wrongs and show that things have an actual outcome, rather than the riding into the sunset classic ending.

I think the reason why people didn't like KotoR 2 is because it was a different kind of game. It wasn't just about action and adventure. It dealt with things much more in-depth. Plus it was way more depressing than the first game.

Defeating the bad guys in KotoR 2 doesn't just fix everything. The game revealed the hypocrisy, corruption, and apathy within the Republic and Jedi. Even if you win, the galaxy was still stagnating and slowly breaking apart as more people lose faith in the Republic.

i have read that there was to come a knights of the old republic 3 but it was cancelled bij lucasarts and you have the mmo that looks great but i dis like it because it is not set around revan anymore. but kotor 3 looks great from what i read a whole new character en plot en already they have thought of 4 new worlds and even disgend them but they cancelled it i hope that they will restart the project because it looks great !! you can read it on wookieepedia :P

Kotor 2 was as good as kotor 1. People just like to be cynics, and Bioware are fucking sellouts only companies who have truly sold out make MMOs. I'd rather have Obsidian make KOTOR 3 or Lucasarts pass it to the strict designers of the original dragon age since they know how to make a game.

When Bioware and EA joined up , Bioware started working on a star wars MMO (in 2008)
