Sleight of Hand
When a dealer can false shuffle, false strip and false cut the cards, it is the same as having a cooler switched into your game. It only takes a dealer with a confederate on the outside of the table recording the cards as they are picked up and placed into the discard holder. Now the player knows each card before it is dealt. A dealer who knows how to execute a turn over switch can pass off extra cards to a confederate sitting at the table, or switch bad cards out for good cards. A dealer who knows how to flash cards out of a six deck shoe or hand decks, and is working with a confederate, is likely never to be caught if the tells are not known. The only stumbling block for a hand mucker in the game of baccarat is a floor person who watches their game. But then, how difficult is it to take out a floor person? It's Important! Surveillance agents must understand that it takes less than two seconds for a professional to execute a sleight of hand move. Most moves are hidden from the fixed camera. The only way to catch the moves is to recognize the tells. If you don't know what you're looking for, how will you spot it on your table games?
