As someone who is areiki practioner i see my third eye alot sometimes opening and closing, it looks like its the size of my forehead and the shape is like a egyptian eye you would see in the pyramids, along with a multitude of colours, sometimes it looks like oil dropping into water, its like having your head right up close to a tv screen but its a pure blue then other colours come and go, it blows my mind sometimes how vibrant the colours are.

@Joeypooy Yes, the root chakra is the most important one of all, it connects with the world, ground, your physical body. It is the ''Temple'', the 6 other ''basic'' chakras can be active and powerful without the root being stable and open. A simple way to understand how well is your root doing, is to check how good your physical balance is. And afterwards. The root chakra is technically, the root of the tree that keeps your mind and spirit connected firmly with your body.

I think Jesus talked of the 3rd eye , but called it an eye (singular) and lamp in our heads . but unfortunately most Christians reject this stuff out of hand. its pagan religion as far as they are concerned. Pity

But the reverse can be said about someone that's read up on the 3rd eye and chakras and auras and what not and they've read all the techniques and listened to mantras from every country and every binureal beat around and still nothing happens, they still can't unlock that part of themselves, is it because they're not really exercising that area of they're mind? Or is it something else?

For you it was the fact that you were trying to use that part of you, it doesn't matter if you know the technical terms or not. It's like someone that runs everyday but knows nothing about anatomy, even if they don't know what muscles they're strengthening, they're still getting stronger nonetheless.

@vampedkitty very true and good point, I want your take on this what if someone is not aware that the chakras exist or what they are listening to (some frequencies can be easily disguised in music) and they were to listen to one of these things. For instance I didn't believe in or know about the third eye and was just experimenting with cards like guessing the next one to see if i was psychic. I started feeling pressure in my head, and all the symptoms of it awakening somewhat. It lasted
