2011년 새롭게 선보이는 펜더 커스텀 샵의 Pro Collection 시리즈는 또 하나의 주목할만한 시리즈로 특이하게도 100년 된 소나무(100 Year Old Pine)로 제작된 바디를 사용하여 제작되었습니다.(베이스 제외) 또한 다른 모델과 차별되는 Closet Classic 라커 피니시로 목재 고유의 느낌이 그대로 살아 있으며 마치 오랜 시간동안 주의깊게 숨겨져 있다가 새롭게 발견된 기타와 같은 느낌을 줍니다. 프로 컬렉션 시리즈 기타는 공통적으로 Large "C" 쉐잎의 Quartersawn Maple 넥으로 제작되며 Dunlop® 6100 Jumbo 프렛을 사용하였습니다. 그리고 넥에도 얇은 Tint 라커 피니시를 적용하여 빈티지한 멋을 그대로 드러내고 있지만, 스위칭과 와이어링에는 Greasebucket™ Tone Circuit 등의 모던한 기술이 접목되었습니다.



2011 Closet Classic Pine Telecaster® Pro [NEW]

프로컬렉션 시리즈중에 처음으로 선보이는 모델은 바로 2011 Closet Classic Pine Telecaster® Pro 모델로 100년 된 소나무 바디와 Large "C" 쉐잎의 Quartersawn Maple 넥, Maple 핑거보드로 제작되었으며, Aged White Blonde 컬러로 피니시 되어 목재의 결을 그대로 느낄 수 있는 것이 특징입니다. Custom Shop "Twisted" Tele® Single-Coil 넥 픽업과 Master Design Tele® 브릿지 픽업이 장착되어 있으며, 산화된 것과 같은 하드웨어와 미세한 상처 등 빈티지한 스타일링과 Greasebucket™ Tone Circuit 등 모던한 테크닉이 결합하여 탄생하였습니다.

in 2009 i got a hollow body pine tele body from guitar mill.com...bought a 70's strat style headstock 50's fat neck and put stainless steel fret wire in it...put all vintage fender hardware and electronics then put lindy fralin blue special pickups in it...it is so wicked....cost me about $850...then fender comes out with this....and no...mine doesnt sound dull..it sounds incredible..its a little on the darker side bc pine is soft but its still got enough snap when it needs it
