simply absorbs through the skin into the bloodstream.

For example, the 2c-b trip that gave me problems for a few months was very bad, and I can't rule out that maybe I would have no problems if the trip had been good in the first place. After all, I've never experienced any bad after effects from my good trips :)
But of course, people should always be careful with RCs.

Yes I agree.
Also, I think that negative association has a big role for many problems that psychedelics may cause afterwards. Set and setting is more important then people may think, and the individual perception and mind set has sometimes a bigger role in problems to come then the drug itself.

You touched it and it made you trip, how does that work????

yes you're right =)

Not necessarily true. I once ate a quarter of shrooms and didn't even hallucinate, another time 2.5g's had me floating through space talking to god. It really depends on the potency of the mushrooms.

It's negative association. Hated the trip and so you now get that feeling around flashing lights.
The best solution would be to cause extinction of that neg. assoc. by creating an opposite effect.
Hard to do, especially with something like strobe lights which can be so harsh and vivid.
I like techno myself, so the first thought is to have an amazing time listening to the Blade dance club music + strobe light +
sex? a trip?
Considering your already existing neg assoc. prolly sounds harsh tho.
Very potent chemicals can be absorbed through the skin, like albert hoffmans accidental LSD trip.

Of course mushrooms and LSD are safer to use in many ways compared to research chemicals, after all there is a whole realm of unknown involved with them.
I was just pointing out that plants are not necessarily better than synthetic compounds. Psychedelics in general will cause HPPD, not specific compounds (however certain compounds may have specific negative effects). LSD is equally as dangerous as mushrooms, it really comes down to the individual user and their perceptions.
