We did the La Tour de Meije. We were down at the lift by 8:45am and we got down to the bottom just before dark around 7:15pm...no need for our headlamps. Full pack day as we used everything from touring skis, skins, ice axe, crampons, ski crampons, rope, food + water,harness, shovel,and more. The trip summary includes a ski down, skin across a glacier, climb up a steep couloir while roped, ski down, skin up, rappel down 100 foot cliff, and a 7,500 big mountain glory decent down the face of Le Meije to the valley floor.
