DFW Events: June 6 - 12, 2011

I'm Wendy with Wimgo here with details on some great events happening around the Dallas Fort Worth area this week.

STOMP is explosive, provocative and sophisticated show that appeals to audiences of all ages and will be at the Music Hall at Fair Park this Tuesday through Sunday. This show has received an armful of awards and rave reviews and has appeared on numerous national television shows. Tickets for this international sensation are available online and start at $15.

The big story in town is, of course, the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. Games four and five will be at the American Airlines Center this week. Tickets are basically gone, so if you can't get in to watch the game, head on over to the Granada Theatre for the free watch party.

Billy Elliot, the story of one young boy's journey to make his dreams come true, is at the Winspear Opera House this Wednesday through Sunday. The musical has won countless awards, including ten Tony Awards and tickets start at $30.

The host of G4's "Web Soup", Chris Hardwick, will bring his Chaotic Good Tour to the Granada Theater Saturday night. Tickets to see the comedian are $30. The Fab Four, The Ultimate Tribute to the Beatles is at the House of Blues on Friday. The show is at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $17.50.
