  • @StratApple The Purple jams are less creative and catchy than Zeppelin, just not playing as a group of speed metal to be good on stage ..

  • @BuddyWillis

Ever heard Deep Purple play Mandrake Root or Wring That Neck live around 69-70?, both songs went up to about 30 mins each

  • What other band in history could take a what, 8 minute long album track and turn it into almost a half hour of straight up raw blues medley jamming awesomeness?

  • Wow! Is rock 'n roll and I like it.

  • so much damn talent

  • Led Zeppelin great forever

  • This is amazing. Do you see how Robert gets the audience into the performance??? Now that isn't just being an awesome frontman, that's being one of the members of the most skilled band ever. I doubt ANY band in history could get their crowd to do whatever they wanted, but, Zeppelin could. Nowadays, it's much easier to get crowds to shout out and do stuff, but, back then, they weren't as enthusiastic. Just damn, ZEPPELIN IS AWESOME!!!

  • The begining of this part of HMMT is classic. It sounds like route 66.

  • that verison is alot cleaner but this version incorporates sooo many early blues lyrics and riffs. no matter what zeppelin will always be 1# on my live performance list

  • classic
