when watching the film, i was rooting arthur the whole way! Connery looks way better then Gere.

I really love the part when Guinevere is saved and she returns to Arthur in slow motion while he's praying and they hug each other :) it's sooooooo beautiful.

It is a great romantic movie, all the actors are amazing but i think the best actor in this movie is Sean Connery, i agree with MelindaBrannon comment below too.

If you watch the story line, you see Gerinevere loves Arthur as a friend and falls in Love with him. Lancelot had no Honor and said so, he cared nothing for himself nor anyone else. He did fall for Gerinevere and he should have never persursed her knowing of her marriage to Arthur. His lack of honor showed his true colors. Only in the end did he realize what love meant.
Arthur loved Geinevere for years and forgave her as did he Lancelot. Arthur was a true King and loving husband.

What am I missing here? The song is about dying and going to heaven and laying eyes on Jesus for the first time. Was this song in this movie?

@lindaclements Katherine had leukemia. This was her favourite film. And the music/ video is not for people to interpret. She was facing heaven. I was her Arthur and she was my Guinevere. Now you know the personal refernce - maybe it will make more sense to you. Paul
